During this period that we are all enduring a global disaster due to corona-virus, Australia has given us more reasons to consider it as a great study destination.
The Australian government has responded remarkably well, managing to flatten the curve in lesser time that anticipated and at the same time taking care of its citizens and residents, including international students. By taking the following action:
- Announced flexibility on early release of superannuation (retirement funds) and
- Provided some Study Destination support packages to be shared with international students who seek help.
- Provided community organisation funding which offers mental health well-being services and food, rent and bills assistance.
Most Australian Universities have announced student support packages and relief funds while other have provided discounts on tuition fees that international students have greatly benefited from.
